Dr Ranjith Hettiarachi visited the Centre on Sunday 16 December accompanied by his wife, Pushpa, and other Committee Members of the Buddhist Foundation (Vic) Australia Inc. The number of guests were fifteen.

Member's of the Buddhist Discussion Centre (Upwey) Ltd. present were Master John D. Hughes and Anita Svensson, Pam Adkins, Julian Bamford, Leanne Eames, Jocelyn Hughes, Vanessa Macleod, Julie O'Donnell, Rilla Oellien, Lisa Nelson and Pennie White.

Members of the Buddhist Foundation (Vic) Australia Inc. included Ranjith and Pushpa Hettiarachi, Lauzu and Feru Perena, Srima and Nihac De Ziysa, Upa and Swarna Upadasa, John, Prabhathi and Rohan Milton, Vijaya Karunasena, Shyamon Jayasinghe, Himalee and Dhanika Scarunasena.


Dr Hettiarachi is Chairman of the Buddhist Foundation (Vic.) Australia Inc., which is the Convener of the Australasian Buddhist Convention to be held in Melbourne, Australia, on 21 to 22 June, 2001.
