Construction of Suite 10A

The construction of Suite 10A IT Store, up to lining of the roof and painting of the undercoat, has occurred over three weeks.

Our Teacher designed the building, including a curved South end wall, with the majority of materials, including flooring, walls and storage racks donated to the Centre by Milford Astor. The delivery of these materials was organised by Rodney Johnson.

The work has involved 11 Members, who, with our Teacher have worked approximately 90 hours on the project, for a total cost of around $250. The money spent has been for items including roofing iron, nails, screws and cement sheeting. The stumps, windows, iron sheeting for the walls and insulation were all available on-site.

The outside colour of Suite 10A will be painted Eucalyptus Green. The target for completion stage ready for the connection of power and occupancy is Sunday 25 March 2001.

Thank you to Rodney, Santi, Frank and Jan who helped refurbishing the kitchen benches.
